Frankly, if I were you, I’d stay in India. I’ve been there and I’ve seen what they do, and I think you can make a world of difference there. Considering the increase in medical tourism, you may be treating Americans sooner than later.

hi friends......I don`t want to stay down in US even if I am able to complete a fellowship or two there,I`ll return to India.I want to gain quality experience(which will make me a NS on par with those who are v.good technically in US/AUS) and get trained(kind of super specialize) in areas like interventional neuro radiology, endovascular neurosurgery, cerebrovascular surgery, skull base surgery, spine surgery, etc(any of these and also others) outside India and only in the developed world esp in US,UK,AUS,etc. TELL ME WHAT ALL U CAN- I`M HEARING.AND IF possible plz be little polite.

Wayne State is not even close to comparable to Hopkins and Peds/Trauma fellowships?  Lol they give those away.

He is another cultural tip for you: when Americans talk about “junior residents”, they actually mean “junior high school”.

Oh, now I see!  I thought a junior resident was like junior college i.e. you start there and transfer to a real program after fulfilling breadth requirements.
