Choosing between medical schools.

I am starting medical school in the fall and wish to become a neurosurgeon.  I currently hold 2 acceptances to brand new medical schools, one in the charter class and one in the second class.  the schools are roughly the same in regards to curriculum and clinical years.  Neither has a ACGME neurosurgery residency program.  The Programs are University of Central Florida in Orlando and Virginia Tech Carilion in Roanoke Virginia. My first choice med school has placed me on the waitlist so who knows if I will get in off the waitlist.  I have to make a decision between the other two by Monday the 17th.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to choose between the two.

With two new schools, go where you want to live, and try to do as much shadowing with local neurosurgeons as possible.  They all trained somewhere, and they might be able to help you get sub-Is.

dont mean to intrude on your thread but i figured since i am in the same boat i could post here. im waitlisted at drexel med right now an i would def go there if taken off but otherwise it looks like i am going to another new allopathic school in upstate PA, Commonwealth Medical College. Similarly, i dont think there is a NS dept but I will make it a point to find local neurosurgeons to shadow as well as the ones at the hospitals i will rotate through as a M3 and M4. any other advice or help would be appreciated. also i plan on trying to find clinical research at a more established institution.
