As a med student, I’ve been visiting as many neurosurgery sites as possible. One interesting resource I’ve come across is matchapplicants.com. They have a section on neurosurgery which is woefully underutilized. I think it would be great if the current applicants and past applicants could fill out their information and contribute to the site. It’d really help out us nsurg hopefuls who’d love to know the characteristics of successful residents and attendings. Best of all, you can keep yourself completely anonymous if you’d like.

The CNS has just opened a new neurosurgery wiki that has a lot of good information in it.

BUMP.
Great resource.
Underutilized.
Perhaps this year’s group will find the time and interest to participate?
