Transoral Approach to Craniocervical JunctionDrs. James K. Liu and Ronald I. Apfelbaum (University of Utah) were kind enough to donate this video presentation of an odontoid resection via the transoral route. This is a great introduction to the transoral approach to the craniovertebral junction. This was made for the AANS and used here with permission.

Drilling below the chiasmA subchiasmatic mass thought to be a soft tumor turns out to be lump of calcification compressing the optic chiasm. A high-speed pneumatic drill with a diamond bit is placed within the opticocarotid triangle via a modified orbitozygomatic approach to debulk the mass and decompress the chiasm. There is no audio for this presentation.
